Questions, answered.
Common questions about the classes, enrollment, and what happens when you finish. If your question is not here, send a message and we will help.
-
When are classes held?
Classes meet twice a week. The in-person class is on Saturdays at 9:30 AM in Harford County and runs about an hour. The online class is on Tuesday evenings at 7:00 PM. Attending each week keeps you on pace to finish on schedule.
-
Where are the in-person classes located?
Classes are held in Harford County, Maryland. Send a message to info@harfordduieducation.com and we will share the current class location and the next available start date.
-
How long is the program?
The program is the Maryland 12-Hour DUI Education Program. Classes follow a rotating curriculum on a weekly Saturday and Tuesday schedule, so you can complete your required hours on time.
-
Do I have to attend in person?
The weekly Saturday class meets in person, which is the format many judges and probation officers prefer. A second class meets online on Tuesday evenings so you can keep your hours on schedule.
-
How do I enroll?
Send a message to info@harfordduieducation.com. There is nothing to fill out online. We will walk you through intake and the next available class.
-
What happens when I finish?
When you complete your hours, your certificate of completion is issued and sent directly to your probation officer, so there is nothing left for you to chase down.
-
Will you coordinate with my probation officer?
Yes. We make contact with each participant's probation officer at intake and keep communication open through the program.
-
Do you offer weekend classes?
Yes. The in-person class is a standalone weekend class on Saturday mornings, so you can meet your requirement without missing work.
-
How much does the program cost?
The total cost is $299.00. You can pay in full at enrollment, or use the three-payment plan: a $99.00 enrollment fee at intake, then $100.00 before Class 1 and $100.00 before Class 5. Full details are on the Programs page.
-
Do I have to wait for a new class to start?
No. We offer rolling admission, so you can begin at the next available opening instead of waiting for a new class series. Enrollment is limited to 15 active participants at a time, and you will get an estimated start date when you enroll.
